What do you use in your bone broth?

Bone broth: We use grass fed beef bones, water, apple cider vinegar, carrot, celery, garlic, onion, rosmarinic acid (a natural antioxidant), ginger, turmeric, parsley, and peppercorns only. We use the traditional method which is long simmering. No additives or preservatives.

Chicken broth: We use free-range chicken bones, water, unfiltered raw apple cider vinegar, carrot, celery, garlic, rosmarinic acid (a natural antioxidant), ginger, onion, turmeric, parsley and peppercorns only. We use the traditional method which is long simmering. No additives or preservatives.

 

How long do the broths last for once I get them?

Our bone broths stay fresh because they are made shelf stable by high-pressure cooking. Retort packaging allows us to provide authentic broths that can be kept in its package for 18 months without adding any nasties. Convenient for you to enjoy. Once opened the broth needs to be kept in the fridge and be used within 3 days.

How do I store the bone broth? 

You can store in the pantry at room temperature until you need it and until its best by date. Once opened you will need to store your broth in the refrigerator and this will last for 3-4 days.

How do I use the bone broth?

We are a big fan of getting some bone broth regularly. You can braise vegetables, add it to your homemade soups and stews or even sip it in a nice mug. If you are wanting to use it as a beverage you could consider adding some spices to it for a lovely flavour. We love it with fresh ginger and lemongrass or a squeeze of lemon. Others have told us they add some mushrooms to theirs. What about chilli? If you have some suggestions we would love to hear from you. Send us some photos of your mugs of broth.
